C & C Marine and Repair, L.L.C. is ideally located at mile 4.0 on the Algiers Canal in southeastern Louisiana. Our close proximity to both the Mississippi River and the Gulf of Mexico enables C & C Marine to effectively bid on both brown water and blue water projects.
The facility is situated on 40 acres with 1350 feet of bulk headed water frontage and approximately 200,000 square feet of enclosed shop area. The property houses various shops to streamline production and to further increase productivity. The vast size of the buildings enables C & C Marine to complete multiple barge projects simultaneously within the confines of the shop area. The buildings house numerous overhead cranes ranging in capacity from 5 tons to 50 tons with overhead doors spanning from 25 feet to 85 feet. Primary structures are predominantly used for material processing, barge section assembly, cutting, fitting, and welding, while a secondary building is used strictly to assist the principal shop with smaller sections such as piping and truss assemblies.
